Earnest Plea to Christians

This is my earnest plea to those of you that consider yourselves Christians.

If you find yourself more concerned about justice than you are about forgiveness, please question your heart.

If you find yourself fearing your neighbor more than you love them, please question your upbringing.

If you find yourself celebrating violence rather than weeping for the fatherless, please question your community.

If you find yourself more concerned with the question “what is right” than the question “what is love,” please question your Church.

If you find yourself hoping for salvation from a secular king, please question your allegiance.

And if you find yourself walking by a foreigner, beaten and bloodied on the street…

Please help them.
